With The Twelve Days of Christmas, Tameside Youth Drama Group bring a new story to be added to the traditional pantomime.
The King is to throw a grand Christmas Ball for all the villagers and, to mark the occasion, a large advent calendar has been built with 12 doors, to be opened one each day. Until then Christmas cannot begin but Wizbad, the wicked wizard, steals the keys and scatters them all over the world. Aided by the good fairy, our characters embark upon a race against time, visiting various countries in their search. Will the final key be retrieved by Christmas Eve, completing the calendar and taking us into the Christmas Ball finale?
